Week 6 democracy meeting
Two students from grades 8 and 9 at Austurbæjarskóli recently took part in the Week 6 democracy meeting. Week 6 is an annual sexual health and prevention campaign in schools across the capital area. The meeting is a planning session where young people come together to make their voices heard and directly shape the themes and development of Week 6.
It is important that students' views are heard as the project is prepared, so it was especially encouraging to see Austurbæjarskóli students take an active part and contribute.
