Journey through Asia
Grade 9 students recently took on a creative project in social studies. Each student chose a structure in Asia and prepared a presentation for their grade. The varied, fun projects allowed students to creatively share what they learned. The result was a colorful trip through Asia without leaving the classroom! Here are a few examples of what the students created:
Tokyo Tower built from wooden sticks.
Tokyo Skytree constructed from pasta.
Burj Khalifa crafted from cardboard and furnished to match each floor.
A clay replica of the sculpture of Emperors Yan and Huang.
