The Little Read-Aloud Contest

On Tuesday, May 19, The Little Read-Aloud Contest was held nationwide for the 16th time, with Austurbæjarskóli taking part for the third time.

The program aims to build interest in schools around thoughtful reading and pronunciation, to meaningfully develop one aspect of students' native language skills, and to encourage every student to read aloud — both for their own enjoyment and for the enjoyment of others.
