Students can visit during recess or after school. They can also come during school hours with teacher permission. The school counselor provides individual and group counseling and visits classrooms for education and presentations.

- The school counselor informs students about educational opportunities, course offerings and assists with secondary school selection.
- The school counselor provides academic and career guidance, helps students with study methods and assists them in developing suitable learning techniques. They also administer interest assessments to help students map their interests.
- The school counselor is part of the student-protection council and serves as the project manager for the school's anti-bullying team.
